When the Mountain Goes Quiet
A cool morning breeze. The scent of the forest and meadow. A sweeping view.
Towards the end of August, a shift occurs here in Hafling. The days remain warm, yet the mornings already hold that special crisp freshness. Nights grow more comfortable, the light softens, and the mountains stand out with greater clarity. After the sweltering weeks of summer, it feels truly wonderful. You open the door in the morning and sense it immediately: autumn is on its way. Perhaps this is one of the most beautiful moments of all here.
Open the door. Step outside. Mountain air.
Our two historic houses, Leckplått and Zoila, are places where you can experience exactly that. We have carefully brought them into the present day without sacrificing their original character. They are designed for your comfort and well-being-places to cook together, enjoy leisurely breakfasts, read, and talk. You might go hiking. You might take a trip to Meran. Or perhaps you simply stay put.
Outside, the landscape changes a little more each day. The forests begin to change color, the air grows clearer, and evening brings a special kind of stillness—the sort that makes you want to sit a little closer to the stove.
Perhaps that is the true luxury: space. Quiet. Nature. And time that hasn’t been scheduled by anyone else.
